Event location will be disclosed to individual participants after registration is received and vetted. Location is in Northern Michigan, approximately 3 hours from Detroit, 2 hours from Lansing, 2 hours from Grand Rapids, 4 ½ hours from Chicago. We will make every effort to maintain this privacy and security, however, we cannot guarantee that the address of this event will remain private. Let’s face it though: who will mess with 25+ transmasc/NB folx with arms linked and love abounding? We’ve got this.
The weekend at a glance - (this is not a finalized itinerary, changes may happen…)
The weekend starts out with folx getting oriented to where they’re sleeping and the layout of the land - some free time to roam depending on what time you arrive. Dinner will be served shortly after 5pm, followed by our first full community circle in the main meeting space.
The Friday night circle will stretch out for some time, filled with sharing and listening. Common themes that emerge will inform the direction of our breakout groups on Saturday morning. After lunch on Saturday, we have scheduled solo time – the invitation is to set an intention, spend a couple of hours in silence in nature, and see what arises. After that period, we reconnect as a group. Dinner on Saturday will likely be followed by one more workshop or themed conversation, and then we will move into unscheduled time. For those who want more focused activities, there will be opportunities for meditation, breathwork, and other possibilities depending on individual or group needs. A recovery meeting will also be available.
Sunday morning, we will enjoy breakfast and then sink into some collaborative creativity. We will close with a final circle, followed by lunch for those who can stay, final chores to leave the place better than we found it, and head out.
